  • The Stalls - Wiltshire Salisbury, England, SP3 5NH United Kingdom (map)

Join renowned author and former rugby union journalist Sam Peters in conversation with England's World Cup winning hooker Steve Thompson and Grand Slam winning ex-Wales and Bath No8 Alix Popham.

The trio will be discussing Sam's latest book Concussed; Sport's Uncomfortable Truth which lifts the lid of rugby's concussion crisis and explores how the sport can rebuild public trust after decades denying the extent of the problem.

With an unparalleled breadth of experience and journalistic rigour Sam will discuss rugby's 'Wild West' days following professionalism and what Steve and Alix believe must be done to save a sport which many believe has outgrown itself.

As well as discussing concussion in sport, the panel will also provide expert opinion on the Rugby World Cup in France.

We are proud to host this event in partnership with two charities - Head Safe Football and Head for Change. 10% of event profits will be split equally between the two charities. Nick Gates, Director of Head Safe Football will also be in attendance to talk about the new charity’s mission.

Tickets for the evening event cost £45 or £60 to include a signed copy of Concussed. A welcome drink and canapes on the night are included in the ticket price.
