Luca Health
Luca is combining the pervasiveness of smartphone technology with artificial intelligence to evolve concussion management from being almost entirely subjective to one that’s driven by data and hard science.
Diagnosing the clear and obvious is a must. Doing that, but also identifying those that are impaired but not symptomatic (from sub-concussive blows), is what will genuinely protect a school, its pupils and make the sports we all love viable for many years to come.

The Jeff Astle Foundation
In 2002, the tragic death of Jeff Astle aged just 59 and the findings that were made post-mortem, raised serious concerns for the game of football and sport in general.
The foundation’s goals are:
To raise awareness of brain injury in sport at all levels of the game
To work with sports authorities to deliver independent research into the links between brain injury in sport and degenerative brain disease
To provide support for sports people living with the affects of dementia or chronic neurological impairment
